Cosmic Warfare

This is my first prototype release to the public, inspired by an old top-down space shooter from the early 2000s, Cosmic Rift.  

State of the game:

Still early days, however, you can play multiplayer with friends and have some nice dog fights! Depending on feedback and interest, I would like to continue working on it and flesh it out more, introducing a persistent game mode with RPG-like elements.

As this game is multiplayer only at the moment, it will be difficult to find active servers.  Come drop by my game dev discord and say hello, give feedback and suggestions or just simply say no one is online come and play!  I'll be happy to pew pew with you!


Controls :

WADS or Arrow keys fly around.  

Left Shift is boost.  Use it more of a escape plan and last minute manuevers.  It uses energy and can leave you in a dangerous situation.

Left Control is to strafe.  While holding it your rotation keys become strafe direction.

Spacebar is primary weapon

Tab is secondary weapon

F is special weapon

G is gravity weapon which also recharges after use

C is to lay a mine

H is to show and hide the controls panel

N is to show and hide the radar
